Oracle To Cut Jobs, Ellison To Sell Shares

Oracle plans further job cuts, investing an additional $700 million amid an AI-driven cash crunch. Concurrently, Chairman Larry Ellison's share trading program, approved on June 22, allows him to sell up to 50 million shares he owns. Ellison holds approximately 40 per cent of Oracle's stock.

ओरेकल (Oracle) और नौकरी में कटौती करने की योजना बना रहा है। कंपनी आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस (AI) की वजह से नकदी की तंगी झेल रही है, जिसके चलते वह 700 मिलियन डॉलर का अतिरिक्त निवेश भी करेगी। इसी बीच, चेयरमैन लैरी एलिसन (Larry Ellison) के शेयर ट्रेडिंग प्रोग्राम को 22 जून को मंजूरी मिल गई है। इसके तहत वह अपने 50 मिलियन शेयर बेच सकते हैं। एलिसन के पास ओरेकल के करीब 40 प्रतिशत शेयर हैं।
