Ministers Accuse BRS Of Provoking Farmers Over Water

Ministers Vakiti Srihari and Jupally Krishna Rao have accused the BRS party of politicising the water shortage issue. They stated that the previous government's management of Krishna river waters and irrigation projects contributed to the current problems. Ministers explained that Jurala storage is significantly reduced by silt, dead storage, and drinking water reserves, leaving little for irrigation. They also criticised the BRS regarding a 2015 agreement on Krishna water sharing.

वकिटी श्रीहरी और जुपाली कृष्णा राव ने BRS पार्टी पर पानी की कमी के मुद्दे को राजनीतिक बनाने का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने कहा कि पिछली सरकार द्वारा कृष्णा नदी के पानी और सिंचाई परियोजनाओं के प्रबंधन से मौजूदा समस्याएं पैदा हुईं। मंत्रियों ने बताया कि जुरला जलाशय में गाद, मृत भंडारण और पीने के पानी के भंडार के कारण पानी बहुत कम बचा है, जिससे सिंचाई के लिए कुछ ही बचता है।
