Indian appliance brand EDT has launched the LUMA Air Fryer, featuring a unique PureGlass construction that replaces the traditional non-stick coated basket with a 6mm double-tempered borosilicate glass bowl. This design eliminates PTFE, PFAS, and PFOA from the cooking surface, addressing health concerns associated with non-stick coatings. The LUMA offers six cooking modes, including air fry, bake, roast, grill, toast, and reheat, functioning more like a compact countertop oven than a standard air fryer. Its versatility aims to appeal to users seeking healthier cooking alternatives.
