Telangana HC Reserves Orders on Plea to Cancel BRS MLCs' Bail Over Remarks

The Telangana High Court has reserved its orders on a police plea seeking to cancel the bail granted to two BRS MLCs, T Madhusudhan and N Naveen Kumar Reddy. The legislators are accused of making derogatory remarks against the assembly speaker, allegedly referencing his caste. The prosecution argued that remarks against a constitutional authority warrant action and urged the court to suspend the bail. Defence counsel denied the allegations and suggested the bail cancellation plea was politically motivated, seeking its dismissal.
