China Urges Israel to Halt West Bank Settlement Expansion

China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi has called on Israel to cease and reverse the "forced establishment" of West Bank settlements during a meeting with Israeli President Isaac Herzog in Azerbaijan. Wang reiterated China's view of the Palestinian question as a historical injustice and emphasized the two-state solution as the correct path forward. He also stressed the immediate need to open Gaza's access for humanitarian aid to prevent further catastrophe. China expressed willingness to collaborate internationally to encourage dialogue and a political settlement.
