Delhi HC Gives Centre Two Months For Action

The Delhi High Court has granted the Central government two months to respond to a plea filed by the Indian Nursing Council. The plea concerns the constitution of the NNMC. An RTI response on July 7, 2026, revealed that the NNMC has not yet been constituted and no appointments or recruitment have been made.

दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने केंद्र सरकार को दो महीने का समय दिया है। इंडियन नर्सिंग काउंसिल की एक याचिका पर जवाब देने के लिए यह मोहलत दी गई है। याचिका में NNMC के गठन को लेकर सवाल उठाए गए हैं। 7 जुलाई 2026 को एक RTI जवाब से पता चला कि NNMC का गठन अभी तक नहीं हुआ है और न ही कोई नियुक्ति या भर्ती हुई है।
