Currently, Jio, OneWeb, and Elon Musk's Starlink hold licenses. Officials clarified that Starlink was the last to apply but met all prescribed security requirements, similar to OneWeb and Jio. Two key steps remain: spectrum allocation and pricing, and final security compliance, after which the satcom ecosystem can expand.
