Bengal Celebrates Mahashtami With Early Morning Anjali Amidst Festive Spirit

Devotees across West Bengal offered anjali at Durga Puja pandals in the early hours of Mahashtami, adhering to the rituals' prescribed timing. New attire and festive spirit marked the celebrations from community pandals in Kolkata to traditional household events in districts. While Belur Math and Kamarpukur saw steady influxes, Cooch Behar's centuries-old Boro Devi puja also commenced with early morning rituals. Kumari Puja and Sandhi Puja, significant rituals marking the transition to Maha Navami, were also observed statewide.

पश्चिम बंगाल में भक्तों ने महाष्टमी की सुबह दुर्गा पूजा पंडालों में अनुष्ठानों के निर्धारित समय का पालन करते हुए अंजलि अर्पित की। कोलकाता के सामुदायिक पंडालों से लेकर जिलों में पारंपरिक घरेलू आयोजनों तक, नए परिधान और उत्सव की भावना ने उत्सव को चिह्नित किया। बेलूर मठ और कमारपुकुर में भक्तों की लगातार भीड़ देखी गई, वहीं कूचबिहार की सदियों पुरानी बोरो देवी पूजा भी सुबह की पूजा के साथ शुरू हुई। कुमार पूजा और संधि पूजा, जो महा नवमी में संक्रमण को चिह्नित करने वाले महत्वपूर्ण अनुष्ठान हैं, पूरे राज्य में देखे गए।
