The arrests were made and 22, 2026, respectively. Authorities allege the duo were central figures in a plot to print and supply fake notes. The case initially surfaced, leading to the suspension of three bank employees.

एनआईए ने सहारनपुर, उत्तर प्रदेश में पीएनबी की करेंसी चेस्ट से 17.29 करोड़ रुपये की नकली भारतीय मुद्रा की बरामदगी के संबंध में दो मुख्य व्यक्तियों, अजय कुमार और हरीश रौनता को गिरफ्तार किया है। गिरफ्तारियां क्रमशः 22 और 2026 को की गईं। अधिकारियों का आरोप है कि यह जोड़ी नकली नोट छापने और आपूर्ति करने की साजिश में मुख्य भूमिका निभा रही थी। यह मामला शुरू में सामने आया था, जिसके बाद तीन बैंक कर्मचारियों को निलंबित कर दिया गया था।
