Fishing Boat Owners Attend Safety Awareness Drive In Andhra Pradesh

Marine police and Fisheries Department officials in Andhra Pradesh's Bheemunipatnam mandal conducted a safety awareness meeting for fishing boat owners. The meeting, held in Kothuru village, saw participation from boat owners in villages between Chapala Thimmapuram and Nagamayyapalem. Officials emphasized the necessity of life jackets, lifebuoys, and other lifesaving equipment on all fishing boats. Fishermen were advised to heed weather warnings, avoid sailing in adverse conditions, and promptly report any emergencies. The installation of government-supplied transponders was also encouraged to enhance vessel monitoring and coastal security.

आंध्र प्रदेश के भीमनीपटनम मंडल में मरीन पुलिस और मत्स्य पालन विभाग के अधिकारियों ने मछली पकड़ने वाली नावों के मालिकों के लिए एक सुरक्षा जागरूकता बैठक आयोजित की। कोथुरु गांव में हुई इस बैठक में चपला थिम्मापुरम और नागम्मय्यापलेम के बीच के गांवों के नाव मालिकों ने भाग लिया। अधिकारियों ने सभी मछली पकड़ने वाली नौकाओं पर लाइफ जैकेट, लाइफबॉय और अन्य जीवन रक्षक उपकरणों की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया। मछुआरों को मौसम की चेतावनी पर ध्यान देने, खराब मौसम में नौकायन से बचने और किसी भी आपात स्थिति की तुरंत रिपोर्ट करने की सलाह दी गई।
