Indian equities continued their recovery on Thursday, with the Nifty 50 index closing firmly above the 22,900 mark, gaining 238 points or 1.05%. The index crossed its 20-day simple moving average and the 22,800 support level, with potential for further gains towards 23,000-23,150. Several stocks, including Reliance Industries, Trent, and IndiGo, are expected to be in focus due to September-quarter earnings, fundraising, and other corporate developments. Trent reported a 25.3% year-on-year profit increase, while Suzlon Energy saw a 69% profit decline due to a high base.
