उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी नवदीप रिणवा ने बताया कि पुलिभित विधानसभा क्षेत्र की मतदाता सूची में 10,470 से ज़्यादा प्रविष्टियों में गड़बड़ियां पाई गई हैं। यह खुलासा मतदाता सूची के विशेष गहन पुनरीक्षण के बाद हुआ। इस प्रक्रिया में शामिल वर्तमान और पूर्व निर्वाचक पंजीकरण अधिकारियों के खिलाफ कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी। इसके अलावा, पुलिभित मतदाता पंजीकरण केंद्र के एक कंप्यूटर सहायक की सेवाएं भी विसंगतियों में उनकी भूमिका के कारण समाप्त कर दी जाएंगी। इन मुद्दों की जांच जारी है।
