A 70-year-old chartered accountant from Gwalior has been defrauded of over ₹21 crore in a sophisticated investment scam. The fraudsters, posing as investment advisors, targeted the CA over six months, luring him with promises of high returns. They communicated primarily through WhatsApp, building trust before executing the elaborate scheme.

ग्वालियर के एक 70 वर्षीय चार्टर्ड अकाउंटेंट को एक बड़े इन्वेस्टमेंट स्कैम में 21 करोड़ रुपये से ज़्यादा का चूना लगा है। ठगों ने खुद को इन्वेस्टमेंट एडवाइज़र बताकर 6 महीने तक सीए को झांसा दिया और ऊंचे रिटर्न का लालच दिया। उन्होंने वॉट्सऐप पर बात करके भरोसा जीता और फिर यह पूरा खेल खेला।
