AMMK founder T.T.V. Dhinakaran has criticised the TVK-led government for water stagnation in Chennai following heavy rains. He stated that commuters faced hardships due to water-logged roads. Dhinakaran pointed out that precautionary measures were not taken despite advance weather advisories about heavy rainfall. He urged the Chief Minister to focus on locating vulnerable areas and implementing necessary preparatory measures urgently to protect citizens from the impact of severe weather events.

AMMK के संस्थापक टी.टी.वी. धिनकरन ने चेन्नई में भारी बारिश के बाद जल जमाव को लेकर टीवीके-नीत सरकार की आलोचना की है। उन्होंने कहा कि जलभराव वाली सड़कों के कारण यात्रियों को कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ा। धिनकरन ने बताया कि भारी बारिश की अग्रिम मौसम चेतावनियों के बावजूद एहतियाती उपाय नहीं किए गए थे। उन्होंने मुख्यमंत्री से आग्रह किया कि नागरिकों को गंभीर मौसम की घटनाओं के प्रभाव से बचाने के लिए संवेदनशील क्षेत्रों का पता लगाने और आवश्यक प्रारंभिक उपायों को तत्काल लागू करने पर ध्यान केंद्रित करें।
