IHH Healthcare to Increase Fortis Stake to 51%

IHH Healthcare plans to raise its stake in Fortis Healthcare to 51% over the next three to five years, aiming to expand capacity to 10,000 beds by 2031. This commitment follows the Supreme Court's order for a forensic audit into alleged asset erosion by former Fortis promoters. IHH, which currently holds 31.17% in Fortis, will cooperate with the audit. The company emphasized its investment in Fortis occurred after the former promoters resigned and stated it is not a party to the dispute between Daiichi Sankyo and the former promoters.
