Southern Police Chiefs to Meet in Hyderabad for Inter-State Crime Coordination

Police chiefs from five southern Indian states and three Union Territories will convene in Hyderabad on October 23 for a crucial coordination meeting. The gathering aims to bolster cooperation in combating terrorism, drug trafficking, cybercrime, and organised criminal networks that operate across state borders. Discussions will focus on joint strategies for intelligence sharing, investigating cross-jurisdictional crimes, and addressing emerging security concerns like Maoist activities and human trafficking.

पांच दक्षिणी भारतीय राज्यों और तीन केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों के पुलिस प्रमुख 23 अक्टूबर को एक महत्वपूर्ण समन्वय बैठक के लिए हैदराबाद में जुटेंगे। इस बैठक का उद्देश्य आतंकवाद, नशीले पदार्थों की तस्करी, साइबर अपराध और अंतर-राज्यीय सीमाओं पर सक्रिय संगठित आपराधिक गिरोहों से निपटने में सहयोग को मजबूत करना है। चर्चाओं में खुफिया जानकारी साझा करने, विभिन्न न्यायालयों में होने वाले अपराधों की जांच करने और माओवादी गतिविधियों तथा मानव तस्करी जैसी उभरती सुरक्षा चिंताओं को दूर करने के लिए संयुक्त रणनीतियों पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया जाएगा।
