Heavy Rains Cause Floods, Trap Climbers

Heavy rains and floods have severely impacted several parts of India in September. In Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, 136 mountaineers were stranded due to heavy snowfall and continuous rain, with rescue operations underway and five people already saved. Meanwhile, rising water levels in the Indravati River in Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, have created flood-like conditions. The Air Force has rescued 12 people, including women and children, from the affected areas.

सितंबर में भारी बारिश और बाढ़ ने भारत के कई हिस्सों को बुरी तरह प्रभावित किया है। उत्तराखंड के उत्तरकाशी में भारी बर्फबारी और लगातार बारिश के कारण 136 पर्वतारोही फंस गए, बचाव अभियान जारी है और पांच लोगों को पहले ही बचाया जा चुका है। वहीं, छत्तीसगढ़ के जगदलपुर में इंद्रावती नदी का जलस्तर बढ़ने से बाढ़ जैसे हालात पैदा हो गए हैं। वायु सेना ने प्रभावित इलाकों से महिलाओं और बच्चों सहित 12 लोगों को बचाया है।
