North Korea has test-fired two types of submarine-launched strategic cruise missiles off its east coast, state media reported on Wednesday. The tests aimed to examine war deterrents and improve the navy's strategic mission skills. One missile was a Pulhwasal-3-31, similar to one tested from land last week. Senior military officers observed the drills, which KCNA stated had no adverse impact on neighbouring countries' security. North Korea is prioritising the development of modern missile submarines.
