Dhruv Rathee Welcomes Rahul Gandhi's Support For CJP

Times of India · politics

YouTuber Dhruv Rathee has called for unity to protect India's democracy after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi publicly supported the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP). Gandhi's support came after CJP leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka were sent to judicial custody for attempting to enter Jantar Mantar. Gandhi stated that peacefully protesting at Jantar Mantar is not a crime and jailing youth for it is cowardly. The arrests have drawn criticism from several opposition leaders against the Centre's decision to de-notify Jantar Mantar as a protest site.
