Delhi's Jantar Mantar Road Reopens After Decades, Protest Site Shifted
TV9 Hindi · india
Delhi's historic Jantar Mantar, a long-standing protest hub, has been completely cleared of barricades, reopening the road for public and vehicular traffic. This marks the first time since 1993 that vehicles are seen on the Jantar Mantar road. The Delhi Police removed Jantar Mantar from the list of designated protest sites in October 2017. Consequently, three alternative locations, Ramlila Maidan, Burari Maidan, and CBD Ground, have been designated for demonstrations in Delhi.
