He argued that if a minister's own son lacks faith in the party ticket, the public cannot be expected to trust the BJP. Jully also suggested the minister should resign on moral grounds due to this lack of confidence.

राजस्थान के नेता प्रतिपक्ष टीकाराम जुली ने बीजेपी की आलोचना की है, उन्होंने कहा कि एक कैबिनेट मंत्री के बेटे ने निर्दलीय उम्मीदवार के तौर पर अपना नामांकन दाखिल किया है। जुली ने कहा कि इस घटना से टिकट वितरण को लेकर बीजेपी के भीतर असंतोष का पता चलता है और पार्टी के संगठनात्मक दावों पर सवाल उठता है। उन्होंने तर्क दिया कि अगर मंत्री के अपने बेटे को पार्टी के टिकट पर भरोसा नहीं है, तो जनता से बीजेपी पर भरोसा करने की उम्मीद नहीं की जा सकती। जुली ने यह भी सुझाव दिया कि मंत्री को इस विश्वास की कमी के कारण नैतिक आधार पर इस्तीफा दे देना चाहिए।
