Times of India · sports

Jaipur's Rambagh Polo Club has introduced night polo matches, beginning at 7:30 PM, to attract a wider audience beyond traditional royal and cavalry circles. Ten new floodlights now illuminate the grass field, making the sport accessible to office-goers and families after the day's heat. This initiative aims to boost tourism and preserve Jaipur's heritage as a major polo hub. The club is actively marketing the sport with support from Rajasthan's tourism department, fostering cultural exchange and promoting local horse breeds like the Marwari.
