Lucknow Police Shunts 12 Sub-Inspectors Over Poor Grievance Redressal

Lucknow Police Commissionerate has transferred 12 sub-inspectors, including several outpost in-charges, to the police lines with immediate effect. The action was taken due to alleged negligence in addressing public grievances and disposing of complaints registered through the Integrated Grievance Redressal System (IGRS). Commissioner Tarun Gauba stated that inadequate improvement in complaint disposal quality and timeliness, despite repeated directives, led to the decision. The officers were also found negligent and indifferent towards government duties, prompting departmental proceedings against all 12 personnel.

लखनऊ पुलिस कमिश्नरेट ने 12 सब-इंस्पेक्टरों, जिनमें कई चौकी इंचार्ज भी शामिल हैं, को तत्काल प्रभाव से पुलिस लाइन भेज दिया है। यह कार्रवाई इंटीग्रेटेड ग्रीवेंस रिड्रेसल सिस्टम (IGRS) के माध्यम से दर्ज की गई जन शिकायतों के समाधान और निपटान में कथित लापरवाही के कारण की गई। कमिश्नर तरुण गोबा ने कहा कि बार-बार निर्देश देने के बावजूद शिकायतों के निपटान की गुणवत्ता और समयबद्धता में अपर्याप्त सुधार के कारण यह निर्णय लिया गया। सभी 12 कर्मियों के खिलाफ विभागीय कार्यवाही शुरू की गई है क्योंकि वे सरकारी कर्तव्यों के प्रति लापरवाह और उदासीन पाए गए।
