केंद्रीय गृह सचिव गोविंद मोहन ने कहा कि भारत का पारंपरिक आंतरिक सुरक्षा परिदृश्य अपरिवर्तनीय रूप से बदल गया है। आईपीएस प्रशिक्षुओं को संबोधित करते हुए, उन्होंने आतंकवाद के प्रति शून्य सहनशीलता और बेहतर खुफिया समन्वय पर केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह के जोर को बताया। मोहन ने अधिकारियों से नशीले पदार्थों, साइबर अपराध और अवैध आप्रवासन जैसी नई चुनौतियों से निपटने का आग्रह किया, और कानून व्यवस्था पर सोशल मीडिया और फर्जी सामग्री के प्रभाव पर प्रकाश डाला। उन्होंने उग्र नक्सलवाद और पूर्वोत्तर विद्रोह में महत्वपूर्ण कमी देखी, जिसमें शेष मुद्दे पूर्ण विद्रोह के बजाय जातीय संघर्ष थे।
