Allahabad HC Orders Ghaziabad Tower Demolition, Probe Into GDA Official

The Allahabad High Court has ordered the demolition of two towers and parts of four others at Ghaziabad's Gulmohar Greens society. The court also mandated an FIR against the project's promoter for fraud and violations of the UP Apartment Act. A disciplinary inquiry was ordered against a former Ghaziabad Development Authority vice-chairperson for illegally approving building plan deviations. The promoter must pay ₹25 lakh to residents, and the GDA must pay ₹50,000 to each petitioner for harassing residents.

इलाहाबाद हाईकोर्ट ने गाजियाबाद के गुलमोहर ग्रीन्स सोसाइटी में दो टावरों और चार अन्य के हिस्सों को गिराने का आदेश दिया है। कोर्ट ने धोखाधड़ी और यूपी अपार्टमेंट एक्ट के उल्लंघन के लिए प्रोजेक्ट के प्रमोटर के खिलाफ एफआईआर दर्ज करने का भी आदेश दिया। बिल्डिंग प्लान में अवैध रूप से बदलाव को मंजूरी देने के लिए एक पूर्व गाजियाबाद डेवलपमेंट अथॉरिटी के उपाध्यक्ष के खिलाफ अनुशासनात्मक जांच का आदेश दिया गया। प्रमोटर को निवासियों को ₹25 लाख का भुगतान करना होगा, और GDA को निवासियों को परेशान करने के लिए प्रत्येक याचिकाकर्ता को ₹50,000 का भुगतान करना होगा।
