NCPCR Summons Meta India Head Again

The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has summoned the Head of Meta India for a second time, with a hearing scheduled for September 16. This follows an inquiry into allegations of child abuse material advertisements on Instagram. Meta has now established a direct reporting channel to India's Cyber Crime Coordination Centre for such cases. Separately, the Vice President of Capgemini was summoned regarding alleged child abuse at a Bengaluru day care centre.

राष्ट्रीय बाल अधिकार संरक्षण आयोग (NCPCR) ने Meta India के प्रमुख को दूसरी बार तलब किया है। 16 सितंबर को सुनवाई होगी। यह Instagram पर बाल शोषण सामग्री के विज्ञापनों के आरोपों की जांच के बाद हुआ है। Meta ने अब ऐसे मामलों के लिए भारत के Cyber Crime Coordination Centre को सीधे रिपोर्ट करने का चैनल बनाया है। अलग से, Capgemini के Vice President को Bengaluru के एक डे-केयर सेंटर में कथित बाल शोषण के संबंध में तलब किया गया है।
