NEET 2027 Pattern Change: Nandan Nilekani Panel Recommends

NTA is undergoing a complete overhaul, with a high-powered task force led by Nandan Nilekani spearheading the changes. Recommendations from former ISRO Chairman K. Radhakrishnan are also being considered to reform the NEET-UG exam pattern. Key proposed changes include shifting to a computer-based test (CBT) format to prevent leaks and potentially holding the exam multiple times a year, similar to JEE Main. There is also a proposal to incorporate 12th-grade marks into the NEET merit calculation to reduce reliance on coaching centers.

Radhakrishnan की सिफारिशों पर भी विचार किया जा रहा है। मुख्य प्रस्तावित बदलावों में लीक को रोकने के लिए कंप्यूटर-आधारित टेस्ट (CBT) फॉर्मेट में बदलना और JEE Main की तरह साल में कई बार परीक्षा आयोजित करने की संभावना शामिल है। कोचिंग सेंटरों पर निर्भरता कम करने के लिए 12वीं कक्षा के अंकों को NEET की मेरिट गणना में शामिल करने का भी प्रस्ताव है।
