Three people have died and several others are missing following a landslide in Odisha's Kandhamal district, while floodwaters continue to inundate Ganjam and Gajapati districts. The state government is air-dropping relief materials in cut-off areas, with Indian Navy and Coast Guard helicopters involved in rescue operations. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced ₹4 lakh compensation for the deceased and is overseeing efforts to restore infrastructure and provide essential supplies. Over 84,000 people have been affected by the heavy rains triggered by Cyclone Arnab.
