Police have registered three cases in connection with clashes that occurred during the filing of nominations for local body elections in Punganur. Rajampet Member of Parliament P.V. Midhun Reddy has been booked along with other individuals involved in the incident. Authorities have identified approximately 70 persons based on video evidence and have formed special teams to apprehend them. Heavy police forces have been deployed in Punganur town to maintain order and prevent further disturbances. The situation is currently under control with intensified patrolling.
