FSSAI Intensifies Festive Food Crackdown, Seizes Thousands of Kg Adulterated Products

Food safety authorities have intensified their crackdown on adulterated food products across India ahead of the festive season. The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has directed all states and Union territories to increase inspections and sampling of milk products, sweets, and other items. In Delhi-NCR, thousands of kilograms of suspected adulterated khoya and paneer have already been seized and destroyed. Similar actions have taken place in neighbouring regions, with officials concerned about the supply chain extending to major cities.

त्योहारी सीजन से पहले खाद्य सुरक्षा अधिकारियों ने पूरे भारत में मिलावटी खाद्य उत्पादों के खिलाफ अपना अभियान तेज कर दिया है। भारतीय खाद्य सुरक्षा और मानक प्राधिकरण (FSSAI) ने सभी राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों को दूध उत्पादों, मिठाइयों और अन्य वस्तुओं के निरीक्षण और नमूनाकरण को बढ़ाने का निर्देश दिया है। दिल्ली-एनसीआर में, हजारों किलोग्राम संदिग्ध मिलावटी खोया और पनीर पहले ही जब्त कर नष्ट किए जा चुके हैं। पड़ोसी क्षेत्रों में भी इसी तरह की कार्रवाई हुई है, और अधिकारियों को प्रमुख शहरों तक फैली आपूर्ति श्रृंखला के बारे में चिंता है।
