BJP MLA Returns Land After Schoolmate Meets PM

A BJP MLA has agreed to return disputed land in Bhayander after an 81-year-old resident, who is Prime Minister Narendra Modi's schoolmate, sought the PM's intervention. The MLA stated he is surrendering possession of the land and withdrawing construction permission. He is also retracting a complaint filed against the elderly man. The dispute involved a 2,810 sqm plot purchased in 1989, which was allegedly encroached upon in 2011.

भयंदर में एक विवादित ज़मीन का मामला सुलझ गया है। एक बीजेपी विधायक ने 81 साल के एक बुजुर्ग को ज़मीन वापस देने का फैसला किया है। यह बुजुर्ग प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के स्कूल के साथी हैं। विधायक ने कहा कि वह ज़मीन का कब्ज़ा छोड़ रहे हैं और निर्माण की इजाज़त भी वापस ले रहे हैं। उन्होंने बुजुर्ग के खिलाफ दर्ज शिकायत भी वापस ले ली है।
