Goa Police File Case Against 300 CJP Protesters For Anti-Hindutva Slogans

Goa Police have registered an FIR against 300 unknown protesters from the CJP for allegedly raising anti-Hindutva slogans during a demonstration in Panaji. The complaint states these slogans hurt the religious sentiments of the Hindu community and aimed to disrupt communal harmony. The case has been filed under sections 196 and 299 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, for promoting disharmony and intentionally hurting religious feelings. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant affirmed that attempts to disturb communal harmony will not be tolerated.

गोवा पुलिस ने पणजी में एक प्रदर्शन के दौरान कथित तौर पर हिंदुत्व विरोधी नारे लगाने के लिए सीजेपी के 300 अज्ञात प्रदर्शनकारियों के खिलाफ एफआईआर दर्ज की है। शिकायत में कहा गया है कि इन नारों से हिंदू समुदाय की धार्मिक भावनाएं आहत हुईं और सांप्रदायिक सद्भाव को बिगाड़ने का प्रयास किया गया। भारतीय न्याय संहिता, 2023 की धारा 196 और 299 के तहत सद्भाव को बढ़ावा देने और जानबूझकर धार्मिक भावनाओं को आहत करने के लिए मामला दर्ज किया गया है। मुख्यमंत्री प्रमोद सावंत ने पुष्टि की कि सांप्रदायिक सद्भाव को बिगाड़ने के प्रयासों को बर्दाश्त नहीं किया जाएगा।
