Patient Dies After Receiving Expired Drip From Unauthorised Person In Jabalpur Hospital

An 18-year-old patient in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, has died after allegedly receiving an expired intravenous fluid drip from an unauthorised individual at Ashwini Hospital. The patient, Shekhar Chaudhary, initially visited the hospital for abdominal pain and was discharged, but later developed severe symptoms. Upon returning, he died during treatment. Investigations revealed the drip bottle had an expiry date of November 2025, and the treatment was administered by Satish Sahu, who lacks medical qualifications. The health department has sealed the hospital, and the accused is in custody.

मध्य प्रदेश के जबलपुर में एक 18 साल के मरीज की Ashwini Hospital में एक अनधिकृत व्यक्ति से एक्सपायर्ड इंट्रावीनस फ्लूइड ड्रिप मिलने के बाद मौत हो गई। मरीज, शेखर चौधरी, शुरू में पेट दर्द के लिए अस्पताल गया था और उसे छुट्टी दे दी गई थी, लेकिन बाद में उसकी हालत गंभीर हो गई। वापस आने पर इलाज के दौरान उसकी मौत हो गई। जांच में पता चला कि ड्रिप बोतल की एक्सपायरी डेट नवंबर 2025 थी, और इलाज सतीश साहू ने किया था, जिसके पास मेडिकल योग्यता नहीं है। स्वास्थ्य विभाग ने अस्पताल को सील कर दिया है और आरोपी हिरासत में है।
