Himachal Pradesh Amends Doctor Policy For PGI, AIIMS Grads

Himachal Pradesh has amended its Resident Doctors Policy-2025 to streamline the appointment of postgraduate doctors from PGI, Chandigarh, and AIIMS, New Delhi. Eligible candidates will now be appointed to senior resident and tutor specialist vacancies in state medical colleges based on their MBBS and postgraduate exam merit, without requiring a written test or interview. This change, incorporating a new clause into the policy, aims to facilitate the recruitment of qualified medical professionals. The government believes this initiative will enhance access to specialist medical services across Himachal Pradesh.

हिमाचल प्रदेश ने पीजीआई, चंडीगढ़ और एम्स, नई दिल्ली के स्नातकोत्तर डॉक्टरों की नियुक्ति को सुव्यवस्थित करने के लिए रेजिडेंट डॉक्टर्स पॉलिसी-2025 में संशोधन किया है। योग्य उम्मीदवारों को अब राज्य के मेडिकल कॉलेजों में वरिष्ठ रेजिडेंट और ट्यूटर विशेषज्ञ रिक्तियों के लिए लिखित परीक्षा या साक्षात्कार की आवश्यकता के बिना, उनकी एमबीबीएस और स्नातकोत्तर परीक्षा की योग्यता के आधार पर नियुक्त किया जाएगा। नीति में एक नया खंड शामिल करने वाले इस बदलाव का उद्देश्य योग्य चिकित्सा पेशेवरों की भर्ती को सुविधाजनक बनाना है। सरकार का मानना है कि इस पहल से हिमाचल प्रदेश में विशेषज्ञ चिकित्सा सेवाओं तक पहुंच बढ़ेगी।
