Pune Celebrates Mahalaya Spirit With Dance, Drama, And Devotional Storytelling

Pune came alive with the spirit of Mahalaya on Saturday, as the fourth edition of Mahishasura Mardini showcased a vibrant blend of dance, drama, music, and devotional storytelling. Thirty-five performers graced the stage at Symbiosis Auditorium, Viman Nagar, presenting the Dashamahavidya, the ten manifestations of Shakti, and Akal Bodhan, the invocation of Goddess Durga before the traditional worship time. Organized by the Pune Bengali Community and Bengalis in Pune, the event celebrated Bengali cultural heritage and fostered community participation.

शनिवार को पुणे महालया की भावना से जीवंत हो उठा, जब महिषासुर मर्दिनी के चौथे संस्करण में नृत्य, नाटक, संगीत और भक्ति कहानियों का एक जीवंत मिश्रण प्रस्तुत किया गया। विमन नगर के सिम्बायोसिस ऑडिटोरियम में 35 कलाकारों ने मंच पर दशमहाविद्या, शक्ति के दस रूप, और अकाल बोधन, पारंपरिक पूजा समय से पहले देवी दुर्गा का आह्वान प्रस्तुत किया। पुणे बंगाली कम्युनिटी और बंगाली इन पुणे द्वारा आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम ने बंगाली सांस्कृतिक विरासत का जश्न मनाया और सामुदायिक भागीदारी को बढ़ावा दिया।
