Jaipur HC: 25% of Daughter-in-law's Salary to Mother-in-law

The Jaipur High Court has ordered that 25% of a deceased employee's daughter-in-law's salary be deposited into her mother-in-law's bank account. This arrangement will continue as long as the mother-in-law is alive. The court stated that compassionate appointments are a welfare system to aid families in financial distress, not personal privileges. The daughter-in-law had left her marital home after receiving the job and subsequently remarried, ceasing financial support for her in-laws.

जयपुर हाई कोर्ट ने आदेश दिया है कि मरे हुए कर्मचारी की बहू की सैलरी का 25% उसकी सास के बैंक खाते में जमा किया जाए। यह तब तक चलेगा जब तक सास ज़िंदा है। कोर्ट ने कहा कि अनुकंपा नियुक्ति परिवारों की मदद के लिए है, कोई निजी हक़ नहीं। बहू नौकरी मिलने के बाद ससुराल छोड़कर चली गई थी और दूसरी शादी कर ली थी, जिससे सास-ससुर को आर्थिक मदद मिलना बंद हो गई थी।
