India Pushes For Security, Connectivity At SCO Meet

India has emphasized security, connectivity, and economic cooperation at the 25th meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of Government in Dushanbe. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, representing India, highlighted the current uncertain global economic climate marked by supply chain disruptions and geopolitical tensions. He stressed that security, connectivity, and economic opportunities reinforce each other, with security fostering investment and better connectivity facilitating trade. India also supported the adoption of a multilateral trade and economic cooperation program for 2026-2030, advocating for economic benefits to reach all sections of society.

भारत ने दुशांबे में एससीओ के राष्ट्राध्यक्षों की परिषद की 25वीं बैठक में सुरक्षा, कनेक्टिविटी और आर्थिक सहयोग पर जोर दिया है। भारत का प्रतिनिधित्व कर रहे रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने आपूर्ति श्रृंखला में बाधाओं और भू-राजनीतिक तनावों से चिह्नित वर्तमान अनिश्चित वैश्विक आर्थिक माहौल पर प्रकाश डाला। उन्होंने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि सुरक्षा, कनेक्टिविटी और आर्थिक अवसर एक-दूसरे को सुदृढ़ करते हैं, जिसमें सुरक्षा निवेश को बढ़ावा देती है और बेहतर कनेक्टिविटी व्यापार को सुगम बनाती है। भारत ने 2026-2030 के लिए एक बहुपक्षीय व्यापार और आर्थिक सहयोग कार्यक्रम को अपनाने का भी समर्थन किया, और आर्थिक लाभ समाज के सभी वर्गों तक पहुंचे, इसकी वकालत की।
