Overloaded Auto Leads To Tragic Death Of 9-Year-Old Girl In Trichy

A nine-year-old girl, Aalifa, tragically died in Trichy after falling from an overloaded autorickshaw and being run over by a truck. The Class IV student was travelling with her family from Thanjavur to Trichy for medical treatment. An official stated that seven people were crammed into the auto, which is designed for only three passengers plus the driver. Aalifa lost her balance while sitting in the rear baggage compartment and fell onto the road, directly into the path of a trailing tipper truck.
