The Centre has approved a Strategic Investment Plan worth Rs 240.5 crore for the Cuttack ITI Cluster under the PM-SETU scheme. This plan, developed in partnership with Tata Steel Foundation, aims to modernise training infrastructure and introduce industry-relevant courses. Govt ITI Cuttack will serve as the hub, with ITIs at Choudwar, Paradeep, Jajpur, and Dhenkanal as spokes. This initiative is crucial for Odisha, which is experiencing significant industrial growth and requires a larger skilled workforce to meet increasing demands.

केंद्र ने पीएम-सेतु योजना के तहत कटक आईटीआई क्लस्टर के लिए ₹240.5 करोड़ की एक रणनीतिक निवेश योजना को मंजूरी दी है। टाटा स्टील फाउंडेशन के साथ साझेदारी में विकसित इस योजना का उद्देश्य प्रशिक्षण के बुनियादी ढांचे को आधुनिक बनाना और उद्योग-प्रासंगिक पाठ्यक्रम शुरू करना है। सरकारी आईटीआई कटक हब के रूप में काम करेगा, जिसमें चौद्वार, पारादीप, जाजपुर और ढेंकनाल के आईटीआई स्पोक के रूप में होंगे। यह पहल ओडिशा के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है, जो महत्वपूर्ण औद्योगिक विकास का अनुभव कर रहा है और बढ़ती मांगों को पूरा करने के लिए एक बड़े कुशल कार्यबल की आवश्यकता है।
