Uttar Pradesh Bus Stations to Get Airport-Like Amenities

Uttar Pradesh is set to transform five bus stations into modern hubs, offering an airport-like experience for passengers. A pilot project will upgrade two stations in Lucknow and three in the NCR region, including Noida, Khurja, and Bulandshahr. These premium stations will feature AC waiting halls, digital displays, clean restrooms, and various retail and dining options. The development, funded by private companies through a 90-year lease, aims to enhance passenger comfort and generate revenue for the transport corporation.

उत्तर प्रदेश में 5 बस स्टेशनों को यात्रियों के लिए एयरपोर्ट जैसा अनुभव देने के लिए आधुनिक हब में बदला जाएगा। एक पायलट प्रोजेक्ट के तहत लखनऊ के 2 और NCR क्षेत्र के 3 स्टेशनों, जिनमें नोएडा, खुर्जा और बुलंदशहर शामिल हैं, का उन्नयन किया जाएगा। इन प्रीमियम स्टेशनों में एसी वेटिंग हॉल, डिजिटल डिस्प्ले, साफ शौचालय और विभिन्न खुदरा व खाने-पीने के विकल्प होंगे। निजी कंपनियों द्वारा 90 साल की लीज पर वित्त पोषित इस विकास का उद्देश्य यात्रियों के आराम को बढ़ाना और परिवहन निगम के लिए राजस्व उत्पन्न करना है।
