Bihar Speaker Backs IGIMS Satellite Centre Proposal For Gaya

Bihar Assembly Speaker Prem Kumar has pledged to raise the proposal for establishing an Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS) satellite centre in Gaya with the state health minister. The IGIMS director presented the proposal, emphasizing the need for super-speciality healthcare closer to residents of Magadh and Shahabad divisions. This centre aims to reduce reliance on distant cities for serious ailments and improve access for people in neighbouring Jharkhand districts. The Assembly Secretariat will also formally communicate the proposal to the health department.

बिहार विधानसभा अध्यक्ष प्रेम कुमार ने गया में इंदिरा गांधी इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ मेडिकल साइंसेज (IGIMS) सैटेलाइट सेंटर स्थापित करने के प्रस्ताव को राज्य के स्वास्थ्य मंत्री के समक्ष उठाने का वादा किया है। IGIMS के निदेशक ने मगध और शाहाबाद डिवीजनों के निवासियों के लिए सुपर-स्पेशियलिटी स्वास्थ्य सेवा की आवश्यकता पर जोर देते हुए प्रस्ताव प्रस्तुत किया। इस केंद्र का उद्देश्य गंभीर बीमारियों के लिए दूर के शहरों पर निर्भरता कम करना और पड़ोसी झारखंड जिलों के लोगों के लिए पहुंच में सुधार करना है। विधानसभा सचिवालय भी प्रस्ताव को औपचारिक रूप से स्वास्थ्य विभाग को भेजेगा।
