Car Plunges Into River, One Dead, Three Injured

One person died and three others were injured after a car plunged into a river near Kuttikkanam in Idukki district of Keralam late Friday night. The deceased, Abhishek S. Nair, was identified as a 28-year-old resident of Pathanamthitta district. His wife and two friends sustained injuries and were admitted to Peerumade Taluk Hospital. The group was reportedly on their way to pick up another friend when the driver lost control of the vehicle near a bridge.
