Kerala HC Orders Facilities For POCSO Courts

The Kerala High Court has directed the State to ensure adequate facilities at special courts established under the POCSO Act, 2012. Many of these courts currently lack necessary infrastructure. The court also ordered the State to disclose the number of additional courts needed for POCSO cases, following Supreme Court directives. These directives aim to improve the functioning of courts handling cases involving child sexual abuse, ensuring compliance with legal guidelines and proper support for legal proceedings.

केरल HC ने POCSO अदालतों के लिए सुविधाओं का आदेश दिया

केरल हाई कोर्ट ने राज्य को POCSO एक्ट, 2012 के तहत स्थापित विशेष अदालतों में पर्याप्त सुविधाएं सुनिश्चित करने का निर्देश दिया है। इनमें से कई अदालतों में वर्तमान में आवश्यक बुनियादी ढांचे की कमी है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट के निर्देशों के बाद, अदालत ने राज्य को POCSO मामलों के लिए आवश्यक अतिरिक्त अदालतों की संख्या का खुलासा करने का भी आदेश दिया। इन निर्देशों का उद्देश्य बाल यौन शोषण से जुड़े मामलों को संभालने वाली अदालतों के कामकाज में सुधार करना, कानूनी दिशानिर्देशों का अनुपालन सुनिश्चित करना और कानूनी कार्यवाही के लिए उचित सहायता प्रदान करना है।
