West Indies head coach Daren Sammy believes the team has sent a strong message by competing fiercely against India in the ongoing T20 series, despite facing significant financial challenges. Cricket West Indies recently announced a 25% cut in retainer fees and suspended domestic tournaments due to a financial crunch. Sammy highlighted that for the team, success is defined by progress and the ability to compete against top teams like India, regardless of external difficulties.
