Sona BLW Precision Forgings' shares surged nearly 6% to Rs 828 following the announcement of robust financial results for the September quarter. The company reported a record quarterly revenue jump of 35% year-on-year to Rs 1,535.8 crore and a 29% increase in net profit to Rs 223.4 crore. Notably, revenue from battery electric vehicles (BEVs) more than doubled, now comprising 51% of automotive revenue. The company also secured significant new orders and commercialised three new products, contributing to an all-time high in revenue, EBITDA, and PAT.
