Jharkhand Govt Opposes Mining Bill, Union Minister Alleges

Devi claimed other mineral-rich states have accepted the law, while Jharkhand's opposition stems from a desire to curb irregularities.

केंद्रीय मंत्री अन्नपूर्णा देवी ने झारखंड सरकार पर माइंस एंड मिनरल्स (डेवलपमेंट एंड रेगुलेशन) अमेंडमेंट एक्ट का विरोध करने का आरोप लगाया। उन्होंने कहा कि यह कानून अवैध खनन और कोयला चोरी को बढ़ावा देता है। देवी ने बताया कि नए कानून से निवेश बढ़ेगा, रोजगार मिलेगा और खनन क्षेत्र में पारदर्शिता आएगी। उन्होंने कहा कि अन्य खनिज-समृद्ध राज्य इस कानून को मान चुके हैं, लेकिन झारखंड इसका विरोध कर रहा है ताकि अनियमितताओं पर लगाम न लगे।
