Rajinikanth's 'Jailer 2' Screenings Halted in Canada Over Missing KDMs

Times of India · entertainment

Screenings of Rajinikanth's film 'Jailer 2' have been stopped at York Cinemas in Canada due to an issue with Key Delivery Messages (KDMs), which are necessary to play the movie digitally. The cinema stated that the disruption is due to a distribution problem with North American distributors Shloka Entertainments and Prathyangira Cinemas, and not audience response. The film's distributors and production house Sun Pictures have not yet responded to the situation. This development occurs as 'Jailer 2' achieves a significant worldwide box office run, grossing over Rs 540 crore.
