BJP has no right to talk about drugs, says AAP leaders in Punjab

Punjab AAP leaders have hit back at the BJP regarding the drug issue, stating the saffron party has no moral authority to speak on the matter. Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal demanded a face-to-face interrogation of Jagdish Bhola and Bikram Singh Majithia to uncover the truth behind the drug network that flourished during the Akali-BJP government's rule from 2007 to 2017. Dhaliwal accused opposition parties of playing politics to defame the Bhagwant Mann government, asserting their aim is to make Punjab drug-free, not political revenge.

पंजाब के आप नेताओं ने बीजेपी को नशे के मुद्दे पर पलटवार किया है, और कहा है कि भगवा पार्टी के पास इस मामले पर बोलने का कोई नैतिक अधिकार नहीं है। मंत्री कुलदीप सिंह धालीवाल ने अकाली-बीजेपी सरकार के 2007 से 2017 तक के शासनकाल में फैले नशीले पदार्थों के नेटवर्क के पीछे की सच्चाई का पता लगाने के लिए जगदीश भोला और बिक्रम सिंह मजीठिया से आमने-सामने पूछताछ की मांग की। धालीवाल ने विपक्षी दलों पर भगवंत मान सरकार को बदनाम करने के लिए राजनीति खेलने का आरोप लगाया, और कहा कि उनका लक्ष्य पंजाब को नशामुक्त बनाना है, न कि राजनीतिक बदला लेना।
