UP Rainfall Deficit Wiped Out By 19 Times

Uttar Pradesh has moved from a rainfall deficit to a surplus after a hyperactive retreating monsoon brought 19 times the normal September rainfall in just two days. Many parts of the state received non-stop rain, with some districts recording their highest single-day rainfall this monsoon. This downpour has also led to a significant drop in temperatures, making conditions pleasant. The meteorological department has warned of similar conditions continuing, with possibilities of heavy to very heavy rainfall.

अतिसक्रिय रिट्रीटिंग मानसून के कारण उत्तर प्रदेश में सितंबर की सामान्य बारिश से 19 गुना ज़्यादा बारिश सिर्फ दो दिनों में हुई, जिससे राज्य में बारिश की कमी खत्म होकर सरप्लस हो गया है। राज्य के कई हिस्सों में लगातार बारिश हुई, कुछ जिलों ने इस मानसून में एक दिन में सबसे ज़्यादा बारिश दर्ज की। इस मूसलाधार बारिश से तापमान में भी काफी गिरावट आई है, जिससे मौसम सुहावना हो गया है। मौसम विभाग ने इसी तरह की स्थिति जारी रहने की चेतावनी दी है, जिसमें भारी से बहुत भारी बारिश की संभावना है।
