US Coast Guard Rescues 16 Found Floating in Pacific Ocean Off Mexico

The US Coast Guard rescued at least 16 people found adrift in the Pacific Ocean approximately 140 miles off Mexico's Baja California coast. The rescue occurred around 1 am Pacific Time, with one survivor reporting up to 27 people were initially on board a vessel. No vessel was found in the water, only individuals. Those rescued are being transported to hospitals in San Diego, US. The Coast Guard is assisting Mexican authorities in the ongoing search for others, deploying aircraft and a cutter.

अमेरिकी तट रक्षक दल ने मेक्सिको के बाजा कैलिफोर्निया तट से लगभग 140 मील दूर प्रशांत महासागर में बह रहे कम से कम 16 लोगों को बचाया। यह बचाव कार्य प्रशांत समयानुसार रात करीब 1 बजे हुआ, जिसमें एक जीवित बचे व्यक्ति ने बताया कि शुरुआत में एक जहाज पर 27 लोग सवार थे। पानी में कोई जहाज नहीं मिला, केवल लोग मिले। बचाए गए लोगों को अमेरिका के सैन डिएगो के अस्पतालों में ले जाया जा रहा है। तट रक्षक दल मैक्सिकन अधिकारियों की मदद कर रहा है और विमान तथा एक कटर तैनात करके अन्य लोगों की तलाश जारी है।
